The spambots are at it again registering rogue accounts. It's been a while since I've banned IP addresses and deleted accounts registered by porn sites. It was actually quite nice IMO.

I have opened a support ticket with the web host asking them to upgrade the forum software. At this point I believe the only changes we will see will be somewhat invisible since it corrects holes that spambots have recently discovered for registering new accounts and appear to be exploiting to the max. The upgrade will be utilizing reCAPTCHA which is an intelligent CAPTCHA tools created by Carnegie Mellon University. It will make registering a new account a bit different since the CAPTCHA piece (those 6-8 random character images entered during registration) are a bit more sophisticated.
