Wow! Someone should send it to the designer houses and say "you had better start worrying".

The article is about six years old but nonetheless a concern.
I remember when I started researching counterfeit luxury goods in the summer of 2005 the name Frances Tse kept coming up as THE guy behind all the super fakes. I bought one of his LV bags from a seller in France and compared it to my authentic LV and it was NOT a super fakes as the hardware wasn't right, the lining was incorrect the LV monogram canvas was too shiny. That bag was burned at the stake.

Well if they were so good why can I tell they're still fake. The quality on this website is nothing like the originals, although it looks like them, but I can tell the hardware, materials used, is far less superior to the actual authentic brand. A lot of details are made wrong on a lot of the styles also.

The counterfeit sellers are having a field day because they have fake websites springing up all over. Buyers don't have a clue where to go and what is real.

None of them are. All of these so called super copies and mirror copy fakes are nothing to compare to the real deal. I think that's the PR stint they've put out all accross the internet to get them sold and to fool buyers into thinking they're purchasing the same level of quality, which is by no means the same when you've seen and held the authentic versions and compare them to the fakes. The materials used to duplicate these super copies are inferior to the actual authentic brands hardware and leather used. Also the authentic brands are mainly made by hand and assembled by the craftsmen who makes them.

That little excerpt about Chanel repairing a fake bag, unfortunately, does not suprise me that much. Some of thhe employees at he Boutiques don't really know all that much about the brand they are selling. They are just good salespeople...not experts.
Now this doesn't apply to all SAs by any means, but I definitely know more about Chanel than my favorite Chanel SA.
However, I find it odd that supposedly they repaired the strap at the store for her? Usually it has to be sent off, so I would not be suprised if that part is a complete fabrication. Even though it was in Paris, I would imagine she would at the very least have to come back the next day and pick it up. The artisans/people who fix the bags are not in the stockroom of the store!
