Hi, my name is Kelly. I want to say hi to everyone but especially Wendy who helped me with some technical issues.
I love handbags. It is the ultimate accessory. I like all designers but own an LV, some Coach and Dooney's. I love to look at the fake ugly bags, they crack me up. I even have my husband able to spot fake Coaches now. He notices handbags everywhere we go. It is too funny. Am looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Welcome Kelly! I have my 20 year old son looking for fake handbags. He said it is embarassing. His friends will say "look at that good looking girl". And my son will say "I wonder if her purse is real".

OMG! That is too funny!! My 20 year old son wouldn't be caught dead saying that! He's an arrogant little you know what and trust me, he would NOT be looking at the girls handbag!

I have to share this since all along my husband hasn't cared much about handbags although I've been educating him. He is now able to spot a fake LV and Coach.
Over the weekend my sisters were visiting and they just HAD to see everything in my purse closet. I had my LV Speedy 25 out and one sis asked how you could tell a fake from a real. Before I opened my mouth, he was telling them about the stitching and the leaves on each end, the color of the patina, the Os, the heat stamp, the date code, the centering of the LVs and how Speedys tend to be one solid piece of fabric which is why on one side the LVs are upside down. Suffice to say my jaw dropped. I realize he has been listening all along. LOL!

Welcome to the group!!! Don't know if my hubby could ID a fake or not but both my girlfriend and I collect the Coaches. Every time the guys see either one of us gals getting a package, they ask the hubby what kind of a purse did HE get today? and what color was it?? So he does always check them out so he can answer her hubby cause he doesn't want to bested by the other guy!

My husband is getting pretty good at spotting fakes. I overheard him telling his mom how to tell a fake Gucci. I was like you-jaw drop. He never acts like he is listening!
